This is a low-cost Automated Vehicle Identifi cation Terminal enabling the identifi cation of vehicles by the system in applications where the vehicle traffi c is intensive and serial weighing is made, possibility of making the weighing procedures without operator and multi-scale weighing automation. It may be mounted to the scale entry or exit according to the application location and mode.

The system consists of the Vehicle Identifi cation Terminal (ATS) and WINATS software at the computer connected to the vehicle scale. It has two separate models available barcode or touch card. Upon entry of the vehicle into the scale, it is identifi ed when the driver makes the barcode card be read by the Vehicle Identifi cation Terminal and weighing procedures are effectuated in this respect. The weighing results related to the vehicle at the end of the weighing procedures are automatically registered in the memory or a printout may be taken from the printer on automatic basis.

The accessories such as traffi c light directing the driver and vehicle traffi c, barrier, sound-light warning system, message terminal and so on may be added to the system.

The tares of the vehicles, weighed permanently within the direction of customer’s request are saved in the memory in advance, so weighing may be provided at a single stage.
